What to post?

Yesterday , my husband asked why I was setting up a blog, "what did I plan to blog about?" Honestly, I really don't know. Most blogs seem to have a theme: homeschooling or cooking or crafts or photography or hiking or music .... I don't want to stick to one subject I want to blog about everything. The name of this blog is Mom School because as I homeschool my children I am learning with them. There are so many fascinating subjects. school takes place in a classroom but learning takes place everywhere. The world is our classroom and as I learn I plan to share whether it is a new recipe or a new scrapbooking technique or something new about technology.

Learning to Blog

I've been wanting to blog for a long time. Why did it take me so long to get to it?? Because I am a bit anal which means I have a need for excessive orderliness and extreme meticulousness. Which is the nice way of saying I am a control freak. I knew it would take me forever to blog because I would not be satisfied with standardized templates; I knew I would want to customize everything. So far I think I have spent three hours figuring out how to customize my blog

What is Mom School?

Mom School is what happens when you decide to homeschool your children. You think you'll be teaching them but the one who is really learning is you. I learn something everyday, sometimes it's good and sometimes it not, but I'm always learning.
